Items¶

Opal can list any kind of Item. After you install Opal, be sure to change the name of your items(the default name for an item is: item) to whatever it is you'll be listing.

Changing the name of your Items¶

Log into your account, Click on the Admin Tab, then the Items Tab. Click on to the Change Item Name link in the submenu. On this page, you'll see fields for the different pluralization cases for your langauge(English has only 2: Singular and Plural). If you're using a language that has a different number of pluralization cases(such as Russian), you should automatically see the fields for these as well. Change these to the name of the items you'll be listing, and that's it!

Adding New Items¶

To create a new Item in Opal, log into your account and click on the Items tab. Then click on the link that says "New Item". If you changed the name of your items to Cheeses, the tab will say New Cheese instead. There's also a link to add a new item to a specific category on each category's page.
