Mystic

Hello guys

This won't be one of those 3rd worlder "i setup it dont work pllzzzz do my job for me and fix and send me documents" postings.

I'm in Australia, and found Mystic after hunting around for a VERY basic contact management system. Everything I saw out there was too-CRM like - all we wanted was a 'this customer called, sent an email, spoke on the phone' etc. system to track contacts.
I'm on a Mac, so getting Rails going is a PITA but Mystic was just the app to make me sort my woes out (64 bit ruby, MySQL, the ridiculous iconv cockups etc).

Anyway, I've got Mystic going on my Mac to test and I love it! I'm going to change a bit of terminology (eg. category to customer), and re-skin it so it's the nirvana in extremely simple contact management....if you're interested I'll send the results back to you.

What's the point of this posting: just to say thanks basically. Awesome job, and an awesome little app to learn Rails in a production sense as opposed to those dinky little test apps you find in all the books.
